Did you know that Lucy, a 3.2 million-year old fossil skeleton of a human ancestor, was discovered in 1974 in Hadar, Ethiopia? Did you know that there are over 80 languages due to the diversity in tribes? Did you know Ethiopia is the only country in Africa not to be colonized? it is of course the birthplace of coffee. There are many reasons to have a tremendous amount of respect and love for this country and the resilient people.

We have our favorite stores in Addis where we have shopped for the last ten years to find the most unique items. We work with an art gallery in Addis which provides a breathtaking variety of art. We believe in the importance of working with locals to bring the money directly back to Ethiopia.
